[Opinions] Wdyt about Beatriz? (Pronounced as Beatrice)
What do you think? What kinda girl do you imagine when you hear this name?

I like it. I agree with other comments that Beatriz is more Hispanic and Beatrice is more Anglo, and also that Beatriz is 'dependable older sister but sassy' and 'zippy and vibrant'.
Spanish or Portuguese. And I wouldn't expect them (or anyone else) to pronounce it like Beatrice.
I was today years old when I foud out Beatriz isn't pronounced with a Z.
Having Beatriz pronounced the same way as Beatrice confuses me. Beatriz is a name in its own right and pronounced “beh-uh-TREESE.” That would be like naming someone Yozef and insisting it’s pronounced the same as Joseph.

I do not pronounce Beatrice and Beatriz the same way; in my tongue, Beatriz is "Bee-uh-trihz" and Beatrice is "Bee-uh-trihs". Furthermore, I prefer the name Beatrice to Beatriz, because I prefer the sound and look. When I think of someone named Beatriz, I think of a beautiful, Hispanic girl (with long, black, curly hair. She has a slender physical appearance and loves to wear royal blue dresses); personality wise, she's rather outgoing, athletic, and she loves to read a good book.
I would not pronounce those two names the same in English. In Spanish, yes.
I imagine a Beatriz to be Latin American, dark hair, dependable older sister energy but kind of sassy too.
