[Opinions] Re: Which middle. Wren, Charlotte, Juliet, or elowen
in reply to a message by Bea
Sophia: Wren, Charlotte, or JulietSophie: Charlotte, Juliet, or ElowenSophie Wren Brown is short. Not TOO short, but I'd prefer it to sound longer and more flowy. Sophia Charlotte is long, again not TOO long but some people might find it too long and Sophie Charlotte is easier to say. I think Sophia Juliet is fine but if you don't want two names with 3 syllables then I'd move Juliet into the "Sophie only" category. Sophia Elowen has a weird run-on thing between the vowels. Sophie Elowen is easier to say because you add a bit of a "y" consonant in between the "ie" and the "el" so it flows. You can't do that with Sophia Elowen because there's already a little "y" sound between the "i" and "a" in Sophia. I love the name Wren but it's the worst of these for matching the style of Sophia/Sophie.
Charlotte and Juliet match the style almost perfectly and very predictably. Elowen does match the style, but it's not as predictable and it brings more of its own personality. It's also brighter than the other middle names.
