Your taste in names is fine! People who like Cordelia aren't any "better" than people who don't.
I think lots of people on this forum like stuff like "Cordelia" because we often like names that are interesting and different from the norm, and Cordelia is a good example of that in Western/English culture. It's a rarely-used name from an old, famous play, total name nerd stuff. You have a different cultural perspective, that's all.
I'm curious about what the equivalent would be in Korea. What would people name their kids if they wanted to use names that feel romantic, historical, and dramatic?
