Asher - it's okay, better than average name
Bennett - I'm really finding myself liking this name more and more recently, it gets the familiar nn Ben but is miles better than Benjamin
Brendan - it's just okay, pretty unremarkable
Cyrus - i don't like it, it sounds nerdy and not in a good way
Dameon - I don't like this spelling
Elijah - always disliked this name, I don't like the way it looks or the way it sounds
Elliott - I like it, I think I prefer it with one l but I keep going back and forth on the spelling
Isadore - I think it sounds pretentiously poetic somehow, maybe I just think it's too much, I prefer simple boy names
Jasper - it's fine, not a fave even in the J names for boys category but I like it okay
Joshua - I like Josh but for some reason Joshua has always put me off, it gives the name a kind of sloshing sound which I don't enjoy
Mason - I really like Mason, it looks nice, it's simple, just a great name
Nico - I don't like it, it looks incomplete and sounds juvenile even on an adult
Rocky - this is a nickname only for me, or a name for a dog
Samuel - it's okay but barely, I don't mind Sam but the ending drags Samuel down
Sylas - I don't like it, the combination of sounds makes the name feel kind of slimy
Tristan - my only real connection is the vague recollection of going through Tristan and Isolde at school so the name seems kind of whiny to me

Huh, I've always pronounced Xavier with 3 syllables! I don't like it as much with 2.
I like these: Brendan
Elijah (Not as much as Elias though)
Elliott (Prefer Elliot)
Jasper
Sylas (Actually don't mind the spelling)
Wilbur (Although probably extremely biased)
Dameon (But only spelled as Damian or at the very least Damien. Dameon just doesn't look right.
Xavier

I like Elijah, Elliott, and Joshua the most. I'm generally neutral about these names.

My favorites are Cyrus, Nico, Samuel and Wilbur. I also like Isadore, but I much prefer Isidore. My least favorites are Rocky, Brendan and Dameon.

~
Sylas: I don’t care for this spelling. I prefer Silas.Dameon: I don’t like this spelling either. I prefer Damian, Damien or even Damion.
Asher: Sounds like a sneeze.
Bennett: Went to school with one. He went by Ben. It's all right but I far prefer Benjamin.
Brendan: It's as heavy and ugly to me as Brenda is for girls.
Cyrus: Ugly sound.
Dameon: Damian is nice. This spelling just doesn't look right.
Elijah: Very nice.
Elliott: It's all right but has nothing to really recommend it what with all the Ellas and Ellies.
Isadore: Seems very stereotypically old-Jewish-guy-in-the-1930s.
Jasper: Just can't picture it on a person.
Joshua: It's okay. For Biblical J names I'd prefer Josiah.
Mason: Yawn.
Nico: Weird, both childish and unisex. Nicholas is nice.
Rocky: Dog name, and a boring one at that.
Samuel: This is nice. I like the nn Sam more than I like the full name.
Sylas: Ugly spelling of a creepy-sounding name.
Tristan: I do like this, but it sounds so much like Kristen that for a long time I didn't realize it wasn't Kristen.
Tyler: Brat name.
Wilbur: Some pig.
Wyatt: It's okay.
Xavier: never can warm up to it.
You're funny, haha! For some reason, I find Brenda unpleasant but Brendan is nice-sounding.
I like Brendan and Damien, though not Dameon. I like Nicholas, but not Nico at all.
Asher, Nico and Tyler are some of my favourite boy names of all time! So are Damian and Damien, though I’ve never come across Dameon before. I love Elijah, Elliott, Isadore, Jasper and Rocky as well, and I like most of the others on the list. It seems like we have a very similar taste in boys names!
That's awesome! I think Dameon is really underrated. Even though they're pronounced the same, Damian has a different vibe to me that I dislike.
Love Isadore, it’s so underrated! Would you use the nn Izzy?
I also like Wilbur (it’s cute!), Bennett, Elliott, Jasper (a fav of mine), Tristan and Wyatt.
I think all the rest are good too, they just aren’t my style.
I'd probably use Isa as a nickname, but Izzy could work too! I totally agree that it's majorly underrated!
