I don’t think I’ll ever warm to this name. It’s harsh sounding and unattractive. The only part I like is Lin / Lynn which I love on a boy.

Don't like it. It was a cartoon turtle(?) or something when I was a kid. I didn't like the name then either. It's just dorky and not in a cute way.

I love Franklin. It's so dorky and bookish. My kinda thing for sure.

Vintage American? I much prefer Francis, no nn necessary.

I think it’s cute and vintage and not too common. Frank & Frankie (or I guess even Lin or Linny would work, I hadn’t thought of that before) are cute nn.
