[Opinions] Noemi in Spanish-speaking Countries
For those who live in Spanish-speaking countries or even the US, does Noemi (Noemí) sound dated to you? I’ve noticed most Noemi’s here in Texas are in there 40s, but was wondering if that’s the general consensus? Would it sound strange on an infant? Thank you!

I like this name! It's very cute
I live in a Spanish-speaking country and for me the name Noemí doesn't look/sound dated. I've seen it in adult women and a girl I've known since she was little (she's around 16 now). It suits both of them and I don't think it sounds like a specific age group.
I don't know about primarily Spanish speaking countries, but in the US its popularity has been pretty much the same for 50 years. It's not any stranger now than it was when those 40 year olds were born. To me it seems basically like Naomi which I perceive as kind of a 90s name, but actually that's more popular now than ever. I'm just more likely to encounter adults named it because I meet more adults; the Noemi and Nohemi I've met were in their 20s-40s fyi.
