[Opinions] Re: Salome, Sabbath and Odessa /names that feel Jewish but are not used by jews
I'll start by saying my husband is Jewish, and I'm familiar with Jewish culture.
I like Salome and Odessa. Salome is simply a variation of Shalom, which is relatively common among Jewish people. Personally I know two boys named Shalom.
Sabbath feels weird to me as a name, and honestly, a bit disrespectful of Jewish faith and culture.
