I submitted the surname Solié some time back (
https://surnames.behindthename.com/name/solie10/submitted), but am curious on its meaning? The most I could find, from the last time I checked, is that it was borne by Jean-Pierre Solié, a French cellist. I also found an apparent meaning, however this was for
Solie (note the lack of
É) (
https://www.houseofnames.com/solie-family-crest), which seems to be a Norman name. Every other link seems to be a baby name website, and I don’t trust those, though they’re all for a feminine name,
Solie. So far, there don’t seem to be any good leads on the meaning of Solié.
Any insight and/or suggestions would be appreciated.
…og en god dag til deg, fra niko.
