Zdzisław Beksiński (1925-2005) was a painter, architect, engineer, sculptor and graphic designer. He was a member of the so-called "cursed" Beksiński family - his mother and mother-in-law died in quick succession. Their deaths were followed by those of his wife, who died of an aneurysm, and his son Tomasz, a popular radio presenter, who committed suicide. In 2005, Beksiński himself was murdered in his Warsaw apartment. His paintings are fantastic and foreboding. None of them have titles.
