I totally agree with you about Jamie: "It's so sweet, handsome, medieval-ish and yet casual"
I strongly dislike James and I think that Jamie is great as a standalone name (just like Alec, Kit, Harry, Jack ...I love this "cluster").
Obviously as I'm Italian it would not be my first choice but as MN, why not?
