[Opinions] Spencer?
Okay, so, I love the name Spencer but my boyfriend hates it. It's like literally my favorite baby boy name ever and so I need to find a name similar to it bc that's what I've always imagine naming my baby. Help

Well, there are lots of surnames ending in -er that have been turned into given names for boys, and some of them are quite fashionable now. Walker and Cooper were actually the two fastest growing names for boys in the USA in 2022 among the top 100 on my combined spellings list. Dexter, Webster, Chandler, Draper, Fletcher, Granger, Luther, Parker, Porter, Sawyer, Schuyler, Tanner, Tyler, Turner, and Warner might be other possibilities.
Where I live, a spencer is a long-sleeved, close fitting item of winter underwear. If it's different where you live, then carry on, but I wouldn't.
ETA it's also a surname, and generally speaking I don't enjoy surnames as first names.

So what are some names your boyfriend likes?
Both of you made this baby (that's assuming you are already pregnant or planning on it very soon; if not, you're having a fight over nothing) so both of you need to be happy with the name. You may have to compromise by putting Spencer in the middle name spot, or you might have to take that name off the table entirely, but you really can't make anyone like something they don't like.
