Sorry but in earlier years I don't think there's enough data to support a top 200 here.

BTW, New Zealand does not provide a list of fixed length, but publishes all names that are given to at least 10 baby boys or baby girls in each year. The length of the resulting list varies considerably, between 118 and 482 (due to population growth and less concentration on most popular names, the longest lists are among the most recent year and the shortest ones among the earliest years.

I got an error message when I tried to access this list. Is it just me, or is there something wrong?

I tried and it worked for me. The link posted by Matthew05 took some time to load, after that the Download link worked fast and flawlessly.

Seems your data proxy is too impatient. It took some time for me until the backend answered, and it could be right in the range of 10 seconds.
