I go back and forth so much on this name! I like it, but I would never use it. I also think I like how it looks written more than how it actually sounds. The "I need a" thing bothers me sometimes. But I do think it’s nice.
ETA: It also reminds me of Jennifer’s Body. Amanda Seyfried’s character’s name was Anita "Needy."

It has a nice sound and appearance to it; sort-of vintage yet soft, delicate and warm. It reminds me of the character from 101 Dalmatians, which is the only association that I have with it.

As an independent name, I find it alright. It's too old for me. As a diminutive for Ana, I also find it fine.
Anita happens where I live; Ana doesn't. I like Anita, but it seems even more dated than Anne, which is a family name so I've used it anyway.
