For the next name update I would like to draw heavily from the user-submitted collection.

I just nominated a bunch of names that had or have been in the top 1000 long enough to be considered “real names”
Aubriana, Everest, Giana, Mac, Maxie, Sincere, Rey, Landry, etc.

I'm rather surprised by Giana. Although it may not be as esthetically pleasing or as common as the original', I assumed it would have been added. Same with Rey, Aubrianna and Mac the most

I nominate Winsor, a name I submitted, because I'm quite the fan of Winsor McCay's visual style and his influence on the animation industry. He animated complex movements in the straight ahead technique - as it was well before keyframing and tweening became a thing - which is, for those of you unaware, insanely difficult to pull off - he was a very talented man.
He is most famous for his Little Nemo comics so if anybody is interested in seeing his works, you can google that and look for his short Little Nemo animation from 1911

Ooh, can't wait!! 🙂 Looking forward to it. I especially nominate names such as Aaralyn, Adaiah, Araya, Eliah, Gavriella, Ilena, Naya! and maybe Toshirō respectively. Zaire? It would be great to see my collection reduced.

Great! I have a question though, will the original person who submitted the name get credit?

If you click on the modified date in the lower right corner of a name's page, the edit history will show the original submitter and editors if it originated as a user-submitted name.
