[Opinions] Identical names with different etymologies
What are some names you can think of that can be spelt the same across multiple cultures, but have distinct etymologies? I can only think of Naomi, Ruth, and Nikita. I don't mean names like Andrea, which are used as feminine in English and masculine in Italian, since they share the same etymology.masculine list: https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/191050/124079

Naomi very much is biblical. It's the version used in the King James Bible (for example, in Ruth 1:8, "And Naomi said unto her two daughters in law, Go, return each to her mother's house: the LORD deal kindly with you, as ye have dealt with the dead, and with me.")

Naomi sounds like a Japanese name to me.The correct option should be Noami or Noemi. The Jewish sailor's name was Noah. The Jewish person who invented Naomi was probably dyslexic.
