I was a bit surprised to see the very sharp up-and-down peak Miranda had in the USA around 1995. Also, this is one of those names which Americans think of as being very "British" today when historically it was actually much more common in America than in Britain when it was first popular back in the 19th century.

A delight to read, as usual! Might I ask why you think Miranda might recover its popularity around 2080? Is it just usual waves of popularity?
Yes, that's just about when a name which peaked in 1995 will be a "great-grandparent" name for the new parental generation and so eligible for revival.
