Boys top 10: no new entries.
Girls top 10:
Harper out,
Camila in.
Too lazy to analyze the top 1000 exactly, but these were rising a lot when I last checked so might enter top 1000:
HermioneLavenderPrimroseDracoCalliope (maybe this is already in)
Fast risers:
Lyra (hope not because I love it)
DaphneAntigone (probably no top 1000 entry though)
PersephoneDaphneRiverBearBlueBirdieBowieClover (god why? I mean as far as nature names go this is the most cow-like and unattractive)
JuniperWrenRowan
I think
Liam and
Olivia will stay at #1.
Oliver goes up to #2.
I assume that these popular ones will drop a bit:
Gianna (one hit wonder because of the sad death that happened in 2020)
EmmaEmilyIsabellaAbigail
Alexander
and I think
Theodore will rise a lot but not quite make the top 10.
Oh and I am SO tired of many names in the top 10.
I like
Oliver and
Evelyn.
But many of the others seem like they have been super common forever.
I already know lots and lots people my own age named
Emma,
Emily,
Olivia,
Ava,
Sophia,
Alexander,
Ethan etc. It is hard to believe that parents today would go "Oh yes, I grew up around thousands of Emilys but let's name our daughter this!".
I am a hypocrite because I love
Lily and it was quite common as well, though. So don't take me seriously. I hope it will fall. I will likely have kids soon. If it went down a bit I'd be happy but if it doesn't I'll still use it.
