[Opinions] American word names of 2020, part 2: nature (long)
I wanted to get some perspective on what English word names are being used nowadays, so I made a few lists (this is the more nature-centric list), and I was mainly curious about the ones that had less than 200 uses but kept others for perspective...Does anything surprise you or stand out to you? Do you like/hate any in particular? Have you met anyone with the names that were used less than 200 times?Feel free to make some combos.Diamond - 198 (34m, 164f)

There are a lot of travesties here. I feel for these kids.

Maize is just corny ...Literally.
I sure feel sorry for anyone with parents who actually think Newt and Minnow make good names.
And Carbon? Really?

The ones that stood out the me:Roan - funnily enough, I never associate it with the word. I imagined it pronounced as ROE-an.
Henna - I think most people naming their daughters Henna in the US do so to honour their Finnish heritage.
Stone - I do not see the appeal in the slightest. Honouring the Rolling Stones??
Clover - ideal for a dairy cow.
Ridge - sounds jagged and aggressive.
