Xavier id the name of the day, and it’s always been one that I liked. A part of me feels like it’s a name that got popular just because it’s just out there enough to be “weird” but not too weird. I don’t know, it’s hard to explain. Thoughts?

Xavier is a handsome name. The ‘X’ makes it spunky. Like with Xiomara, Xander, or Xena. Xenia can also go on that list. It has an interesting history and it’s weird, but full of personality without being TOO weird.

I like it. I like that it's edgy (for starting with X) and classic at the same time. I pronounce it ZAY-vier.

I love it so much. The only thing that keeps it off of my Top 10 is that I have Javier on there already, which I love even more.

For most of my life I'd have said that it was almost exclusively Catholic. Then there was a sudden outbreak of Australian and New Zealand sportsmen named Xavier who pronounced it Ex-Ayvier. So, on both counts, I'd never even think of thinking of using it.
