What do you think of the combo, or do you prefer Murphy as a surname?

Nolan is ok, Murphy is ok as a mn
It sounds respectable and generic: I've never met one, but somehow I feel like I know at least four of them.
Nolan is like Dylan and Noel. Or Brian, Ian, Alan. Seems a bit dry but ok. Murphy in the middle spot does give the impression of being a family surname.

I would assume that Murphy was the mother’s surname.

It looks like two random Irish surnames smushed together, I’d expect a sibling named Sullivan Casey.
