I see it as quite classic. Very charming. Kind of has an old-timey feel but definitely fits into modern usage.

I used to really like Oscar until I found out my former high school English teacher (who I hated) used it for her kid. Now it just seems insufferably self-important. The ultimate hipster name. I've transferred my affection to Roscoe.
