I really thought Simone would climb in popularity after Simone Biles and Simone Manuel won medals at the 2016 Olympics. It's actually dropped in the US. Maybe it's the ending sound of "Moan" that doesn't appeal to people, I know a lady by this name and it suits her but don't think it suits everyone because it's a bit elegant
