Annabelle is okay. I love Annabel. Annabel feels so much more classic and down to earth. Annabelle is too frilly.
Yes, people 100% think of the horror movie. That's why it has been dropping like a rock in the popularity charts.
I still think it's usable, but I would definitely pick Annabel (the horror doll is Annabelle).
