[Opinions] Sibyl
I like Sibyl more and more everyday. Would it be a burden for a little girl?
I think it's cool and mystical.
Will it always get mixed up with Sybil?

I used to like this name - particularly the way this spelling looked - but eventually I grew to dislike that all the vowel sounds were short-Is (basically schwas). I think Sibylla is a slight improvement, but someone with that name will probably get called Sabella, or even Isabella, a lot.
I don't know why the Sybil spelling became more popular, since to me it looks like SIE-bil (or "sigh bell"), and I actually like that less than Sibyl.

I think it's a great name, perfectly wearable, and due for a revival. I do prefer Sybil, but I don't think people would be familiar enough to question either spelling.
I suspect that Sybil is more familiar to most people.
I think, either way, it is a good, interesting name and not remotely burdensome.

I really like the name, though I can never decide if I like Sibyl or Sybil better (which is why I wouldn't use it myself.) It's classy and elegant and I think entirely bearable for a little girl (as in "able to be born" not as in "only just tolerable.") Both spellings have been out of the top 1000 long enough I'm not sure one would be so much stuck in people's minds as the other, but it still might cause confusion or often require clarification. I couldn't guess just how much.
I don't think any name is a burden for a child. It's others who make it a burden through expectations, inattention, history, etc. As for it getting mixed up with Sybil? No more than any other variant spelling!
I don't like it and yes will get mixed with Sybil
I really dislike Sibyl, partially because I study mental health and so it is still deeply tied to the fictional multiple personality disorder character in my mind. It also just in general seems kind of unattractive to me as well as frumpy and old ladyish. Sybella I like much better.
