I think it just doesn't sound "cool" the way Arya does. It doesn't sound dated, but it doesn't sound fashionably namey either.
My personal impression of it is that it sounds like a brand name of detergent powder for dishes or laundry.
And the sans part also reminds me of French for without, like sans serif.
Also, the pronunciation is not obvious. Could be San-za, San-sa, Sahn-za, Sahn-sa.
