It's very OTT, which speaks to me, it makes me think of Dutch still lifes, and I much prefer the nicknames for Petronilla than Sidonia.

In both cases I prefer other variants: Petronella over Petronilla, and Petra over either though it's not really a variant, and either Sidonie or Sidony over Sidonia. But between these two Sidonia is the easy winner for me. It falls off the tongue so pleasantly.

I can see the appeal of both. But I think Petronilla appeals to me a bit more. It has a quirky, yet aristocratic, vibe I like. Sidonia would make a nice alternative to Sydney, though.
