I knew a guy with this name--this spelling. The Grey spelling seems more established, but Gray feels warmer and more down to earth in my mind. It's been in my head lately, as both a male fn and a unisex middle. Both spellings are used as surnames and there is also the simple color association. I have a bit of a soft spot for word names. So WDYT? Is it useable, or just too random?

Huh...I just checked and it looks like the Gray spelling is more established as an fn in the US. It was used back in the 1800s. Cool!
