[Opinions] Iona

I’m pretty sure eye-OH-na is the Scottish pronunciation.
It’s better than Isla, but sounds a bit too much like “I own a”.

Eye own a, I prefer Isla out of the 2
The only person I've known with this name pronounced it ee-OH-na.
Ee-OH-na
Yes. eye-OH-nuh. Definitely prefer Iona
I love it. I do put the emphasis on the second syllable. I like both, but I'd choose Iona.
eye-Oh-na is how it's pronounced in my region.
I prefer Iona, Isla Pronounced as Eye-la makes me think of a loose eyelash on someone's blouse. Though I don't like it said as Iz-lah either.. I just don't like it regularless. Pronunciations very region to region I've never been one to be a stickler about them myself. Even in the same region often people pronounce things differently it's just a dialect thing. For instance in my area people pronounce Eva all three ways.. and it's not necessarily because one group is wrong that's just how it happens sometimes. Name pronunciations are like language as a whole it involves over time.
