I like it, it isn't my favorite or anything but I like it :)

Like a character in a novel set in the antebellum South: either the name of a slave or the version of Amelia used by the slaves when referring to their owner. "Lawdy, Miz Scarlett! Lawdy, Miz Melia!"

I know it's a name in its own right, but with the popularity of Amelia, I think it would be misheard as that a lot.

Sounds like a nn for Camelia, Amelia, or Emilia.
