[Opinions] Lucine
The name Lucine means Moon. So what do you think of it?
I love it personally. A refreshing and nice alternative to Lucy.

I love it, it was one of the names I considered changing my posting name to. I love it’s Armenian roots and its pretty sound and meaning. I think I prefer Lucine though.
I adore Lucine! It's so bright and friendly.
I love it!
I think there is a dairy/ice-cream brand named Lucine/Lucene. My husband thinks so, too - but I can't find it through google. Perhaps I'm incorrect?
Anyway, it's a bit too sweet for me. I love the meaning of moon, though,, and it's very much usable.

I don't think it means moon; Lucy/Lucia/Lucille mean "light" and Lucine is from the same root. Selene does mean moon, you may have gotten them mixed up?
The only lucy type name I like is Lucia, though Lucille is also okay. Lucine sounds chemically with that "cine" ending. Like Lucite or lutein.

It’s a variant of Lusine, which comes from Armenian lusin (լուսին) meaning “moon” or “the moon”, not “light.” :)
And as another poster pointed out it’s pronounced loo-see-NEH!

It’s pretty in my opinion, I like names that are similar to Lucy such as Lucinda and Luciana. I also like the meaning because I love names to do with space.
I’d rate it 10/10.
