WDYTO Severin? I’m not sure whether I like it because of what it is or because of the associations I have with it (German ski jumper Severin Freund, whom I’m a big fan of), so I’m interested to know others’ opinions!"Do you not find it happens very often, that you are as gay as Garrick at dinner and then by supper-time you wonder why God made the world?"

I honestly love it, it's gorgeous and elegant, but soft and bookish like Theodore. And the nickname Sev is adorable.I like this pronunciation for girls too.

It looks like "severing" but said like "severin’" or something. I honestly prefer Sylvain.

BeautifulI love male names that are unequivocally beautiful. Severin is such a name! Vivian and Fabian are, too.

I like it, although I take it as a given that it's going to be closely associated with severe / sever.
Similar to how I like Valentin and expect it will be associated with Valentine's Day.
