Help[Opinions] Natasha, Nina, Nadia
So, the other day the name Natasha floated into my head and it's kind of stuck with me. It's not a name I'd normally like and I've known many, many Natashas growing up. It's always struck me as kinda plain, unadventurous, former-trendy, very middle of the road... heading towards dated. I've known people who've considered it "trashy" or "cheap", not my opinions but I've never really cared enough to disagree. However, as it popped into my head I got this idea of a refined, classy but rebellious and fiery woman, the kind of women who might have been called Natasha when it was less popular, maybe she's a fierce revolutionary for a cause or just a covert passionate free spirit... and I sort of really like that image.
So what do you think of Natasha? Or variants like Natacha (a bit more interesting than Natasha)?
What names would you pair it with to get the vibe described above - more refined, more fiery, maybe more retro? I was thinking names like Vivienne or Genevieve, delicate names with a retro vibe which could be worn well by strong women, but that's just me. Or what more unusual, exotic names would you pair it with to make it less... everyday?
On the theme of N names, I was also thinking of my frequent favourites, Nina and Nadia. I do think Nina is a bit...very.... simple, but I also think it's quite lively and spunky, and Nadia is favourite as I think it could suit just about anyone. In the past, one of the very few possible names for future children an ex and I agreed on was Nadezhda "Nadia" and I still really love it and would be tempted to use it.
What do you think of Nina and Nadia? What combos would you make with them? I feel like Nina needs to be made fancier and Nadia needs to be brought down to earth with combos, but that's just me.
