What’s your opinion on the name Amaryllis?
Amaryllis means “to sparkle” and it is also the name of a beautiful flower. Apparently the name Amaryllis is 2,285 for this year, and has increased by 500 since 2019.
I really like it. The spelling is pretty and I really love the meaning, and how uncommon it is compared to most flower names. The only thing is that if somebody has a lisp or something and they can barely pronounce Amaryllis..
But anyways, what do you think of the name? What would you rate it on a scale from 1-10? (0 being awful.)

I do like Amaryllis. It’s light and musical and frilly, but not in a princess-y or saccharine way. The meaning is also beautiful.
I used to dislike the name and hunk of it as just another hippie flower name, but I’ve really warmed up to it. I would give it a 7.5/10.

I absolutely adore it, and have since I was a little kid. It would be on my list if I didn't suspect that my wife would veto it for being too frilly and complex haha.

I love the flower but as a name, I find it very awkward.
