The description of Eldrick states that it’s a variant of Eldric, a name categorized as Medieval English. Eldrick, however, is categorized as American (and nothing else). These are both user-submitted names, so neither is completely verified, but it’d make more sense for both to be Medieval English considering similar names in the main database (
Aldric,
Elric,
Æthelric, etc.). They might also be Ancient Germanic and/or Anglo-Saxon, but I’m not sure on this.
