It doesn't mean "night rain", that is a fake meaning that has been circulating all over the internet. I think many parents choose it for its fake meaning.
It is simply a form of Amaia and means "the end".
It is okay. I dislike the meaning and it sounds just like Maia with an A squeezed in front of it. It is kind of bland and will sound dated. But it is not horrible.
