I never saw the appeal, even back when it was popular. I've always thought it ugly. I once saw it described as the 80s Leslie, and that makes sense, since I've always found Leslie ugly as well.If I have to, I prefer the spelling Lindsay, for no reason other than it looks a tad nicer IMO. I work with a Linzie. WDYTO that spelling?

Linzie is spectacularly ugly.I once had a colleague named Lynsey; she explained that one of her parents wanted Lynn and the other preferred Lesley (the fem version where I live), so Lynsey was their compromise. But there's no forgiveness for Linzie.

...unless one parent liked more traditional names (like Linda) and the other preferred more trendy names (like Mackenzie)... Linda + Mackenzie = Linzie! lol (of course, since Janice's coworker or whatever was probably the same age as her, I suppose this isn't as likely... but a girl can imagine, right??? lol)
