[Opinions] Ozzie as a female nickname? Where would you get it from?
Hey guys!My great-grandmother's mother was named Mary Ozzie, and called Ozzie. We're pretty sure that it's a full name and not a nickname. She gave it to her own daughter as a middle name too, but that daughter went by Mary.Anyway, what would you assign to Ozzie for a full name?

Oxalis! It's a genus of plants including wood sorrel which is quite pleasant feeling on bare feet and subtly beautiful and also tastes nice. I think if you're going as off beat as Ozzie you can go off beat with full name.

Augusta would be cool. Astrid or Osceola might also work.

Rosamund, Rosalind, and Rosaline, of course!I do love the idea of Mary Osbertina or Mary Oswalda, though. Mary Oscarina?

Asma/Ozma? Austin?
I guess if you wanted to make a now-obscure joke you could nn a Harriet as Ozzie.
Or if her last name was Osborne or Oswald that might work.

The first thing that came to my head was Ozara but it does not seem to be used as a fn but it's a place in Nigeria? Sounds kinda nice imo

I like the suggestions of Ozana and Oksana a lot. Ozana Maria or Maria Ozana would be a lovely reference to the family tree. Ozana Maria Minerva.Or if you decide against:Rosamund "Ozzie" (instead of Rozzi as both my Rosamund friends are called)
Mozelle
Rozarie
Ozymandias (I know I know..)
OanezAny O.Z. combination eg Olivia Zoe, Oriana Zara, Ophelia Zoya etc etc etc
