[Opinions] Re: Michelle vs. Nicole
Oh, this is hard. In France they are both extremely dated to the 30s and 40s and in English speaking countries to the 70s and 80s. I think they are both tired and boring.I also dislike the English pronunciation of Nicole (in France the O doesn't get dragged out so much, it is short).I'd choose Michelle. I hate the nicknames for it (Shelly, Mitchie) so I'd use the full version always. It sounds softer and prettier than Nicole. As a middle name also Michelle.Siblings? Christopher and Stephanie? Something really 70s/80s.

To add:Sorry, I understood which one of the two I'd prefer as a middle name.If I had to choose one for Michelle:Michelle Rose
Michelle LeonorAnd actually, I think I would leave the choice to my partner. Nicole at least has a family significance for me. But it sounds so odd to me that I couldn't pick it now. But if my partner preferred it, I would go for it.By the way, I used to kind of like Nicole. No idea what happened but at the moment I can't stand the sound at all.
