I pronounce the a in Calix like the a in cat.
I like Calix too. Antonio is cool but I guess I never realized it was floral. I knew the word anther / anthos... huh.
I've met a couple Jaceks.
I like Hyacinthus and Hyacinth(e) too. Also Gentian.
