My mom is a big geneology buff and is writing a family history. Apparently my greatx4 grandmother was named Lurania (would have been 1830s-ish). It's not in the BtN database so I can't provide any information on it or how it was said but wondering what you all think.
I would pronounce it luh-rahn-yah. It reminds me of
Ourania, which is a favorite of mine, but maybe more usable. I think I'm actually kind of taken with it. It has a fairy tale quality to it.
