Darby doesn't "fit" imo, and if
Charlie were
Charles nn
Charlie it would work better imo. I know
Jack is also a nickname-name but it just sounds better than
Charlie to me on its own, which is kind of childish sounding.
ETA: I kind of like
Darcy for a boy (blame "Pride & Prejudice" even though that was his ln :b) but
Darby was the name of my blonde female dental hygeinist (sp?) for years. So I often associated
Darby with
Barbie. LOL.
