May and Mae have very different vibes to me. May is a little sweeter and milder, Mae is a little adventurous and badass. I like both.
Mei is beautiful. Very light and flowery feeling, similar to May.
Mai sounds a little more like 'my' to me. It doesn't have the lightness of the others. Still nice though.
