When I hear or see Lydia, I think of one of the best lecturers I ever had at uni - appropriately, in Classics. No doubt she was the proud possessor of the same number of labia as the rest of us, but I never gave them a thought.

I had a science professor at my university whose name was Lydia. She was very short and seemed like someone who may have been so serious all the time partially so she would be taken seriously. I know I find it hard to be taken seriously sometimes because of my height but I just am too happy go-lucky to ever become so severe and serious.
