Posted about it a while ago, I really like it. It sounds old but fresh at the same time, like it’s time for a revival. It gives me Old Hollywood vibes. I actually met a Cedric recently with the nickname Ceddy, which I also thought was nice.
First thought is Cedric Diggory (HP). Second thought is grandpa. It’s a strong name but not my style.
I like it. Easy to spell, and say, unusual and interesting but recognisable. Got a good grounding and history. Not at the top of my list, but up there!
I've always liked it for its timeless, understated quirkiness.
It's one of my favorite names.
I have a good friend by this name. I like it, it’s pleasant, masculine and delicate all at once.
I love it, it is very handsome. Too bad that it is associated with Harry Potter.
It’s nice.
I like it. It makes me think of cedar trees.
I like it a lot - it meets halfway between English aristocratic and high fantasy character.
I like Cedric, and think it's one of those "medieval" names that can be used in modern times without much fanfare... if people can separate the name from the character Cedric Diggory, because for a while they were synonymous.
Hate it
