For some reason I've really been into the name Anna lately. I've always found the name boring and preferred Anne (which I still do), but I guess I just see some charm to it now.What are some middle names for Anna that'll make it a little more interesting? I like more whimsical, dark sounding names like Parthenia, Nausicaa, Iphigeneia, Gwyn, and Nimue but am open for all suggestions.Disclaimer: this is all for fun.

Anna sharpens those interesting middle names like a pencil sharpener. It's a great adornment for them and therefore it's so easy to make combos. Anna Parthenia is really pungent and ancient feeling. Not sure you can improve upon it. Let's keep it dark though...Anna Morgaine

I adore Anna, for its classic, and unfussy style! I would say Anna Genevieve, Anna Geneva, or Anna Ginevra.

I think Anne is less commonly used in the first name spot, thus making it less boring to me. I also love all the historical connections to Anne. It's plain but it sounds regal and sophisticated.Anna Maeve is pretty. :)

Anna is my favorite first name to pair with long, "unusable" middle names because it goes with anything. It's a tofu name, it soaks up the flavor of whatever you put with it. Anna Polymnia
