I don't see Derek as being that old, it's someone in their 30's-50's to me, as it had quite a leap in popularity in Canada from the late 60's to the late 90's.

I'd pair Derek with something else that reminds me of the same time period but with a somewhat timeless feeling, Brandon, Peter, Patrick, etc.
