Funny you should ask, because my DH likes this name. He also likes Ashley/Ashleigh, Heather, and lots of other 80's names.
He is English, and perhaps in the 80s a lot of names that evoke English countryside were invogue? Either way, Lindsay is pretty, but it reminds me too much of my SIL Linda, so I would not use it. I also prefer Rosalind.
