Nakiara looks Japanese to me. Were her parents into manga/anime?

Doesn't look remotely Japanese to me at first glance...
...and I did look around for なきあら/ナキアラ (Nakiara) and なきゃら/ナキャラ (Nakyara) wherever I could find and there isn't anything convincing that I've found, especially with regards anime and manga.
To OP: Looking at name stats for Puerto Rico from 1998 onwards, even though Nakiara isn't on the list, names with a similar make-up, like Nakisha and Natisha, and the fact that Kiara was popular when Nakiara was born lead me to believe that this name is basically Kiara but prefixed with Na-.

She goes by Naki, which is listed as Swahili but sounds Japanese like Yoki, Yuki, and her parents could have been into anime. Sh
