Favorite to least favorite:
Isidora - I don't like the
Isa* spelling, but spelled
Isi*, it'd be my favorite; I think it seems elegant and has an interesting history, plus I like the sound
Dorothea - it sounds stately and sagelike but old-fashioned; the first people I thought of in connection were
Dorothea Dix and
Dorothea BrookeTheodora sounds cute and clunky, probably because I associate it with
Theodore /
Theo (which are pleasant but sound trendy to me) and
Teddy (bear).
The only one I'd use is
Isidora, although I like
Dorothea a lot for other people or as a character name.
