Definitely Laurence. I actually don't mind it, although I do prefer the spelling of Lawrence more.
Humphrey is an absolutely dated and AWKWARD name that I wouldn't wish on anyone. It's likely to lead to some grief, unlike 'Laurence/Lawrence' where most people wouldn't even bat an eye.
